Sometimers RC Club is an RC flying club located in Lansing, Kansas with about 30 members. We fly all types of aircraft from electric park flyers to giant scale gas aircraft and the occasional turbine powered jet. Hope you like our channel we will add videos as we make them.
The Sometimers Radio Control club started as a group of folks with a passion for aeromodelling. The club became an Academy of Model Aeronautics charted club on July 1st, 2010. On August 10th, 2010, the club signed an agreement with the City of Leavenworth, KS for the use of the old county landfill located on Gilman Road in Lansing, KS and has since been the main flying field for the club and is known as the Walter Defrees R.C Airfield. The Sometimers also have a small field located at the Wyandotte County Park in Bonner Springs, KS. During the winter months, the club uses the Riverfront Community Center in Leavenworth, KS.
